Cultural Union & Community · Live website
ACC Australia
A complete website for ACC Australia, the Asia-Oceania Cultural Union based in Adelaide. It presents the union as an accountable, institutional body that councils and sponsors can rely on, while still feeling warm and festive for the families and members it serves.

The Challenge
What the business was up against
A cultural union speaks to very different people at once: families looking for membership and settlement support, the public looking for festivals, and councils, sponsors and government partners who need to see accountability before they commit. Community sites often look like a noticeboard, which works for members but does little to build trust with institutional partners.

Our Approach
Designed for the phone in their hand
We gave the site two layers. Up front, a full-bleed hero with a bold “Unforgettable Cultures United.” headline, quick routes for families, the public, business and students, and colourful festival photography. Underneath sits the institutional proof: a quarterly timeline of signed projects with named directors, four department pillars (Sports, Cultural, Integration & Mentorship, Partners & Gov), and a Donations transparency hub with an allocation breakdown and quarterly reports. A three-step member intake form, events calendar, news, gallery, partners and participants pages complete the site, and every page is fully responsive.

Key Design Decisions
What we built in, and why
Festive on top, accountable underneath
Bright festival photography carries the emotion, while signed deeds, directors and resolution numbers give partners the proof they need.
One colour per department
Sports, Culture, Integration and Partnerships each get their own accent from the logo, so visitors can tell the portfolios apart at a glance.
Transparency as a page
A dedicated Donations hub shows where the money goes, line by line, with a simple “Give in 30 seconds” donate flow next to it.
