Urban Bites Café
A concept for a neighbourhood café where nearly every visitor arrives on a phone, hungry, and wants three answers fast: what is on, when it is open, and how to book.

The Challenge
What the business was up against
Café sites often hide the menu in a PDF and the opening hours in the footer. On a phone that friction sends people straight back to the map app and on to the next venue.

Our Approach
Designed for the phone in their hand
We designed mobile-first around those three questions. Menu highlights sit on the home screen, hours and location are one tap away, and a booking prompt stays visible without getting in the way.

Key Design Decisions
What we built in, and why
Menu as a page, not a PDF
Readable on any phone and indexable by search engines.
Hours and map up front
The most-asked questions are answered without scrolling.
Appetite-led photography
Warm, close-up food imagery that does the selling.
